March 30-31, 1990 New Delhi First International Conference on Environmental Protection of the Himalayas.
June 14-17, 1990 Chamonix The Third Board of Trustees Meeting, 40th anniversary celebrations of the 1st ascent of Annapurna, the greatest gathering of mountaineers. A seminar on Alpine & Himalayan environmental problems.
October 1990 Tokyo Himalayan Adventure Trust (Japan) established.
June 12, 1991 New Delhi Himalayan Adventure Trust renamed as Himalayan Environment Trust (HET)
June 13, 1991 New Delhi The HET was formally registered in New Delhi on 13th June 1991 (2586/iv/80/79-89 dtd . 13.6.1991)

May 8-10, 1992 Kathmandu Kathmandu Environmental Conference jointly organised by the UIAA and Nepal Mountaineering Association
Aug 20-31, 1992 Tokyo Clean up Mount Fuji Organised by Mrs. Junko Tabei of Himalayan Adventure Trust of Japan (HET-J). There were 68 international participants, mostly teenagers.
Sept 21-22, 1992 New Delhi Himalayan Mountaineering and Tourism Meet Jointly organised by Indian Mountaineering foundation and Himalayan Environment Trust.
Oct, 8-9, 1992 Matsumoto (Japan) General Assembly of UIAA. Chairman HET chaired the Session on Himalayan Environment. It was an event of great significance. HET Deluxe Poster containing the 'Himalayan CODE OF CONDUCT' was released by the President UIAA.
Sept. 27, 1993 New Delhi Special Function organised at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi during which the HET journal was released. Dr. Karan Singh chaired the meeting.
Nov 9, 1992 San Francisco Gangotri Conservation Project Fund Raising Dinner with the Legends of Rock and Ice by the American Himalayan Foundation.
Nov 30, 1993 Kathmandu 10th Anniversary Celebrations of ICIMOD - A Symposium on Environment was organised. Capt. M.S. Kohli attended the function on behalf of the HET.
June 18-29, 1994 Gangotri Himalayan Environment Trek, led by Reinhold Messner.
June 27-28, 1994 New Delhi Seminar on Himalayan Conservation Programme, Govt. People's Participation, inaugurated by Dr. Karan Singh.
Sept. 7, 1995 Beverly Hilton Second Fund Raising Dinner by American Himalayan Foundation and eighth Board of Trustees Meeting. Third Volume of the HET journal was released and distributed.
March 29, 1996 New Delhi A Fund Raising Snow-Ball was organised by Sushil Gupta, Vice Chairman, GCP & Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Sir Edmund Hillary was the Chief Guest.
