You or your organisation can enroll as a Life Associate of the Himalayan Environment Trust or even gift a membership to friends and relatives with interest in the Himalayas, and preservation of their environment and ecology, by US $ 1,000 (Rs. 10,000) for nationals of India, Pakistan and Nepal) to the Honorary Director, Himalayan Environment Trust New Delhi, India. Associates will get copies of the Official Journals, Newsletters and all other communications regarding International Conferences and projects etc., of the Himalayan Environment Trust.

OBTAIN THE HET HIMALAYAN SEAL OF APPROVAL
The Board of Trustees of the Himalayan Environment Trust during its meeting in New Delhi on September, 21-22, 1991 decided to work together with the Adventure Tour Operators in the Himalayan countries and around the world to ensure that all those who visit the Himalayas for adventure activities follow strictly the Code of Conduct decided by the Trust, based on the Aims & Objectives of the Trust. A copy of the Code of conduct and information Brochure which lay down the Aims and Objectives of the Trust will be sent in response to your application.
The Board has also decided to allow such Adventure Tour Operators to use the seal of the Trust on their Brochures signifying that they and their clients would fully ensure the environmental protection as the guidelines of the Himalayan Environment Trust. In this connection the following annual fee would be payable by the Adventure Tour Operators.
